1948 Midget Racing Programs, Yearbooks, and Pit Passes

Phil Hill’s earliest racing experiences were attending midget car races, which were frequently held all over Los Angeles and the Southern California area. Working as a mechanic for a midget car racing team, he had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of one. Each of these pit passes, programs, and yearbooks was saved by Hill during these exciting years of post-WWII racing in Los Angeles.
