1952 24 Hours of Le Mans Official Program

Luigi Chinetti convinced Phil Hill to go to the 1952 24 Hours of Le Mans where Chinetti had a possible driver's seat for him to fill. Hill made his way over to France for the first time by boat and train. When he arrived, it was clear that Chinetti had sold the seat to a paying customer. Hill, nonetheless, attended the race, took many wonderful photographs, which were published in his book Inside Track, and made valuable connections securing many future returns to the Le Mans race. This is the program he brought back home.
