This stunning Sebring Silver, fuel-injected example of the first-year Stingray coupe perfectly encompasses all of Corvette’s innovations for 1963. The unique one-yearonly split-window back glass is an American automotive design that collectors still covet today. According to the history file that accompanies this Corvette, it has been maintained as a collector’s car for more than three decades, having been driven less than 46,000 miles since new. In 1992, while owned by Harold Kennedy of South Carolina, it captured the coveted Bloomington Gold certification as well as an NCRS Top Flight Award and a Duntov Mark of Excellence award, the most prestigious honor for a Corvette and a testament to the car’s authenticity.

According to invoices that accompany the sale, the Corvette was later owned by John Randall, who spent approximately $10,000 with the specialists at Mann’s Corvette Shop on miscellaneous sorting. The Stingray was sold to the consignor by the experts at ProTeam Corvette in 2014, and it has been used sparingly since, though recently serviced by marque specialist Jeff Reade at American Motoring Memories.

Extremely well documented, this rare fuelie retains its window sticker and body tags, as well as a report from Al Grenning at Classic Car Affirmation Service regarding the authenticity of its data tags and engine pad stampings.
