The final year of production for the legendary “mid-year” Corvettes was 1967, and many Corvette experts say it is the most refined of the series. This example is splendidly presented in its factory Sunfire Yellow paint with black interior. Factory rally wheels and thin whitewall tires evoke the look of both elegance and speed.
This sporty example, chassis 194377S119257, has been collector-owned and carefully maintained in California for decades. It has been used sparingly by the consignor since his acquisition in 2009.
Ordered new with the optional, high-horsepower, L79 small-block 327 cid engine, backed by the factory-installed 4-speed Muncie gearbox, it is well- balanced and an exciting drive. The Corvette is also optioned with power steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, and air-conditioning, creating a rare combination of high-horsepower performance and comfort. In addition, the engine compartment is nicely detailed and original in appearance.
This Corvette is a great choice for comfortable high-speed touring, rallies, club events, and experiencing the pleasure of the open road. Here is a collector car that can be enjoyed on many levels; it offers a balance of styling, performance, reliability, and collectability that is hard to match, and it is worthy of serious consideration.
