Renowned for its exceptional driving experience, DOHC V-8 performance, incomparable styling by Giorgetto Giugiaro/ItalDesign, and all-around sophistication, the Maserati Bora simply must be experienced firsthand by any true sports car aficionado. Offered with a Maserati Classiche document package confirming all original data, this 1974 Maserati Bora 4.9 is an original US-delivery model and one of just 275 examples produced in top 4.9-liter specification. Visually striking in Oro Kelso (Gold) paint over Senape (Tan) Connolly leather, this Bora 4.9 was ordered by Maserati Automobiles Inc. (MAI) in Los Angeles and shipped there in June 1974.

The current owner believes this particular Bora has yet to be fully restored in its lifetime. As offered, it benefits from maintenance as required and displays an ideal presentation for continued use and enjoyment as intended with correct and largely original upholstery, a tidy boot and engine bay, and solid undercarriage. A major service was performed in 2016, including a complete rebuild of the carburetors, alternator, distributor, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, hydraulic pump, installation of new spark plugs, ignition wires, and battery, plus new fluids and filters. Retaining full Maserati Classiche documents, matching-numbers engine, and attractive factory colors, this splendid 1974 Maserati Bora 4.9 is a rare sight in today’s market and represents a tremendous opportunity for discerning collectors of fine Italian supercars.
