Auctions and Brokerage
The FJ43 is a slightly longer version of the legendary Toyota FJ40 and is a less-frequently-seen variant, especially in the US. According to the consignor, this truck was used in South America by an energy company for most of its life and is said to have been well maintained at Toyota dealerships during that time. It was then purchased by a Toyota enthusiast who used it as a daily driver for years.
The truck was acquired several years ago by the consignor and was restored earlier this year by The FJ Company. The FJ43 was stripped, restored and upgraded with a host of features, such as a new aluminum radiator, custom roll cage and soft top, leather Corbeau MOAB seats, and a custom fire-extinguishing system. Upgrades also include Old Man Emu suspension, a five-speed gearbox, and LED headlights.
A rugged and capable vehicle, this example is well equipped to tackle genuine off-road excursions, trips to the grocery store, and anything in between. This FJ is one of the most thoughtfully built we have come across, with many features designed to improve its performance. The consignor has graciously offered a complimentary entry into the 2016 Copperstate Overland tour to the buyer of this FJ43. Please see the Copperstate Overland website for additional details and terms and conditions.
