1990 Ferrari Testarossa

Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 1984, the Ferrari Testarossa was a stunning departure from the curvaceous lines of the 512 BBi that it was designed to replace. Penned by a team of Pininfarina designers led by Leonardo Fioravanti, the Testarossa featured an angular profile, crisp lines, extraordinarily wide stance, and large side strakes that extended from the front fenders, through the doors, and led to massive cooling ducts located in each quarter panel. The modern design garnered positive reaction from Ferrari fans and the automotive press. In fact, the Testarossa would eventually become the quintessential 1980s supercar. Powered by Ferrari’s strongest road-going flat 12-cylinder engine to date, the Testarossa produced 380 bhp at 5,750 rpm. Driven through a five-speed manual transaxle, the new Ferrari possessed the performance to back up its outrageous appearance.

This 1990 Ferrari Testarossa departed Maranello in iconic Rosso Corsa (Racing Red) with a tan leather interior. A meticulously maintained example, it has covered just over 13,000 miles and remains highly original. At 12,530 miles, it received an engine-out major service by Lindsey Automotive of Kenner, Louisiana, as documented by receipts on file. More recently, the fuse box was upgraded with a unit from Scuderia Rampante. The car completed the Ferrari CentoMiglia Rally in November 2017, and stands ready to accompany its new owner to Ferrari club events or exhilarating adventures on the open road.
