Porsche introduced the 993 platform in 1994, in what was to be the last of the great air-cooled 911 series. The following year, the 993 lineup was complemented by the debut of a new Turbo model, which evoked memories of the celebrated 959 supercar with the implementation of a twin-turbocharged, all-wheel-drive configuration.
This well-maintained 993 Turbo benefits from modest use and consistent upkeep over the last 22 years, resulting in a splendid example. Built in June 1995, the Porsche was equipped with electronically adjustable seats and a sunroof, and finished in Midnight Blue Metallic paint with a beige leather interior. The Turbo was initially purchased by a resident of New York before passing to a collector from Greenwich, Connecticut, in September 2001. In December 2003, the 993 was sold to Porsche enthusiast Richard Emerson of Seattle, and he retained possession for almost 12 years. In February 2015, the marque specialists at Vision Motorsports of Laguna Hills, California, serviced the clutch and front differential, and replaced fluids and filters. Accompanied by a tool kit and jack, the 993 also benefits from the tasteful addition of a Harman/Kardon premium radio with navigation.
Stunningly presented in its desirable color combination, this modestly used Porsche displayed 39,542 miles at the time of cataloguing and offers Stuttgart enthusiasts an interesting opportunity to enter the ranks of Turbo ownership.
