Introduced at the 2002 Geneva Auto Show, the Ferrari 575M – “M” for Modificata – advanced the classic front-engine, two-seat V-12 Ferrari GT layout reprised to great effect by the prior 550 Maranello. Featuring a larger engine, aerodynamic updates, upgraded brakes, a new adaptive-damping suspension, revised interior, and new F1 paddle-shift gearbox, the 575M delivered stunning performance; it was the first front-engine Ferrari to exceed 200 mph. Performance aside, the 575M is quite user-friendly and easy to drive, perfect for high-speed transcontinental jaunts in the best Ferrari GT tradition.
Featuring a beautiful and desirable black/tan color combination, this 2002 575M was sold new by Ferrari of Long Island in October 2002. Desirable options include Scuderia shields and full leather interior with carbon-fiber seats. Very well-maintained, this 575M is accompanied by a CARFAX report and an extensive service history, including a major F1 transmission service, clutch replacement, and major belt service completed during the first quarter of 2015 at Ferrari of Denver. Restored interior buttons provide a correct feel to the touch. Accompanying items include the original delivery card and warranty booklet, plus leather-bound books, tools, tire inflator, car cover, and an extra key plus three fobs. Less than 11,800 miles of use are documented with the vehicle remaining unmodified. This is an outstanding first-year 575M worthy of your consideration.
