2004 Ferrari 360 Modena Spider

When Ferrari introduced the 360 Modena in 1999, the model suggested a new design direction. Eschewing prior wedge styling in favor of a curvaceous design from Pininfarina, the aerodynamically perfected Modena was also based on a new aluminum space-frame chassis. As this highly decorated veteran of major FCA concours attests, the 360 Modena continues to age with timeless grace, an obvious candidate for one of tomorrow’s great classics.

This Spider was desirably equipped by the factory with Daytona seats, Scuderia fender shields, racing exhaust, red brake calipers, front and rear Challenge grilles, and modular wheels. Finished in Argento paint with a black soft top, the car was trimmed with black leather offset with silver piping. The Ferrari passed among two Southern owners and accrued approximately 15,000 miles before being purchased in 2013 by Dr. Thomas Graziano of New Jersey, who maintained the car in a climate-controlled garage.

Presented for three consecutive years at the Cavallino Classic (2014 to 2016), the Modena garnered an FCA Platinum award each time, and also won First in Class awards at the 2014 Le Belle Macchine and the 2015 FCA Regional Concours in New Jersey. Now in the hands of a new owner, the car has benefited from timing-belt service completed in early 2017. The pristine 360 Modena Spider, which displayed 19,775 miles at cataloguing, may be enjoyed for its engaging road-going capabilities and presented with pride at FCA events.
