Porsche took the wraps off a second-generation 991 GT3 at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. While appearing similar to the outgoing car, changes were made that further honed Porsche’s lauded track-oriented sports car. Derived from Porsche’s 911 Cup car, the new 4.0-liter flat-six developed 500 hp at 8,250 rpm and was mated to a PDK dual clutch automatic or newly available six-speed manual gearbox. A re-tuned suspension improved steering response and stability, and updated aerodynamics increased downforce by 24% while not affecting drag. Reviewing the new GT3 in May 2017, Automobile magazine said “as much as each of the upgrades makes what was an already great car even greater, it’s the way Porsche’s GT division brought them all together in harmony that ultimately wins a driver’s heart.”

This 2018 Porsche GT3 is finished in arresting paint-to-sample nonmetallic Acid Green over a black leather and Alcantara interior. Ordered by a Porsche 918 VIP customer, this six-speed manual GT3 was highly specified with ceramic composite brakes, extended-range fuel tank, front-axle lift system, Bose sound system, LED headlights, and lightweight bucket seats.

This GT3 received its first oil change at Porsche of Colorado Springs in August 2019, and registered less than 80 miles on its odometer at the time of cataloguing. Offered with books, tools, keys, and window sticker, this GT3 offers an opportunity to acquire an exceptional example.
