In 2017, Porsche introduced the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series to celebrate the end of 991 series production. The high-end model was packed with 607 hp, a seven-speed PDK transaxle, all-wheel drive, active suspension, and stability management. Initially intended to be a run of 500 Coupes, customer demand persuaded Porsche to offer 200 additional Cabriolets for the 2019 model year. Hand built by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur at Zuffenhausen, the Turbo S Exclusive Series is an absolute tour de force of Porsche style, technology, quality, and performance.
The Turbo S Exclusive Series offered here is number 62 of 200 and was delivered new to Isringhausen Imports in Springfield, Illinois. Heavily optioned and finished in dazzling Golden Yellow Metallic, the Porsche is complemented by extensive use of carbon fiber, including its 20" center-lock wheels – a $15,000 option. Its front trunk lid features two unpainted stripes intended to reveal the beautiful carbon construction underneath, and the carbon details extend into the Porsche’s magnificently appointed black leather interior. Additional options include Adaptive Cruise Control, front-axle lift system, Burmester sound system, carbon fiber floor mats, Lane Change Assist, and a fitted leather luggage set with its own price tag of $7,940. No detail was left to chance when Porsche created this Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet Exclusive Series, which showed just 23 miles at the time of cataloguing. It is a remarkable swan song for the 991 and a worthy addition to any serious Porsche collection.
