Saleroom Addendum

Please note that some of the early history attributed to this vehicle in the published description is a point of disagreement within the Voisin community. Gooding & Company recently received further information from a marque authority who believes that the early history attributed to this vehicle, including its German delivery and subsequent ownership by members of the Voisin family, may belong to the Model C14 that originally bore this vehicle’s chassis number (28917), and not the vehicle presented here. In addition, while fewer than 30 Clairières were likely built, more than two may still exist. Please also note that this vehicle’s engine produces no more than 110 bhp, not 165 as stated in the published description. Please contact a Gooding & Company specialist by emailing specialist@goodingco.com for more information regarding this lot.
