1956 Porsche 356 A Coupe

Practically from the moment of its debut, the Porsche 356 has proven itself not only on the road, but also in competition. Thanks to its lightweight, aerodynamic efficiency and brilliant handling, the 356 was victorious against significantly more powerful competition. This special 1956 356 A Coupe has been the subject of an impassioned project by its owner and his rally partner to participate in the legendary 1000 Miglia. Following much effort and expense, the car received both its 1000 Miglia acceptance and FIVA certification; the corresponding letters and engraved badges confirming its approval accompany the sale. With these credentials in hand, the next owner may easily reapply for a future running of the 1000 Miglia event. The car is equipped with its proper 1956 date-coded wheels, and original specification Solex carburetors, both of which are crucial for acceptance.

Retaining its matching-numbers engine and transaxle, the Porsche is finished in red over black and festooned with a central German stripe, driving lights, hood straps, Carrera rear valence, competition seat belts, and rally chronometer.
