Introduced for 1974, the Porsche 911 S formed part of the redesigned G-series range, distinguished by its impact-absorbing bumpers, shorter hood, and rear reflector panel. Power came from a fuel-injected 2.7-liter flat-six, while three-point seat belts and integrated headrests reflected Porsche’s emphasis on occupant safety.

According to its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this US-specification 1977 Targa was completed in October 1976 and finished in Grand Prix White over black leatherette with red tartan inlays. Factory options included black trim, KONI shocks, black door scripts, power windows, and cruise control. While its earliest history is not known, accompanying service records document continuous care by Stuttgart Southwest of Tempe, Arizona, from 1994 through 2025. Following a period of storage, the Porsche was recommissioned during 2024 and 2025, receiving attention to its fuel system, brakes, suspension, ignition, and drivetrain, along with numerous engine sealing and maintenance items, including new tires. Showing just 30,757 miles at the time of cataloguing, this very well-preserved 911 2.7 S Targa appears to retain its original interior and is accompanied by a paint meter chart consistent with the presence of largely original paint. Presenting well throughout, it is accompanied by tools, jack, and spare, and is well suited for preservation-class concours display, touring events, and Porsche club gatherings.
