Introduced for 1994, the Type 993 marked the final evolution of Porsche’s air-cooled 911, combining the familiar rear-mounted flat-six engine with a substantially revised multi-link rear suspension and more refined styling. For 1995, the Carrera Cabriolet joined the range, pairing the 3.6-liter engine with an electrically operated soft top and, in this case, a six-speed manual gearbox, offering an especially engaging expression of the 993 formula. With its restrained styling, improved handling dynamics, and significance as the final air-cooled 911 model, the 993 has become an icon for Porsche collectors. Finished in Grand Prix White over black leather, this 993 Cabriolet displayed just 568 miles when catalogued. Delivered new in the US before being exported to Germany in 2011, it returned to the US in 2024. While in Germany, extensive servicing included the replacement of its clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, brake hoses, spark plugs, and fuel pump. In addition, the glove box door was signed by famed Porsche factory driver Walter Röhrl. Its current caretaker acquired the car in 2025 and has added sparing mileage. Most recently, the car received a fluid service, along with the installation of an upgraded Porsche Classic radio. Immaculately preserved since new, this exceptionally low-mileage example offers a rare opportunity for collectors to add an incredibly original 993 to their collection.
